Secria V2 Is Here

Filip Balik · · 3 min read

Secria turned one this week. We marked it by shipping v2, the biggest update in our history: Secria Mail and Secria VPN, both rebuilt.

Mail v2 is live for every account right now, web and mobile. Nothing to migrate, sign in and it's there. VPN v2 arrives the moment you update the app.

A year in, that's 30,000+ active accounts and a team of seven working under one rule: nothing ships until it survives ruthless security testing. v2 is that rule applied to everything you touch daily. Faster, more stable, more yours. And post-quantum encryption stays on by default in both, because that never changes.

Secria Mail v2

  • Five accounts, one app: sign in to up to five accounts on one device. All Inboxes puts every one of them in a single list.
  • Offline Mode: keep the last 7, 30, or 90 days on your device and read it anywhere. Compose without a connection; the message waits in a visible outbox and sends itself when you're back.
  • Undo send: 5, 10, or 20 seconds to change your mind.
  • A quieter inbox: newsletters grouped by whoever is actually mailing you, unsubscribe one tap away. Move a message to a folder and Secria offers to file that sender there from now on. Saved searches and search operators.
  • Faster: message bodies decode in the background, threading is quicker, scrolling stops stuttering.
  • Your mail is yours to take: one-click MBOX export, attachments included. Imports resume, and running one again skips what already landed instead of duplicating your mailbox.
  • And the small things: renameable passkeys, profile pictures, light, dark, system, and OLED black themes, list density, text size.

Secria VPN v2

  • Desktop, redesigned: Windows gets an animated world map, a draggable widget from the tray, server search, one-click Quick Connect, and Stealth Mode that no longer trips antivirus. macOS gets a rebuilt window with connect, settings, multi-hop, split tunnel, and device management in one place.
  • Multi-hop and split tunneling: chain three servers in three jurisdictions from one sheet. Route chosen IP ranges around the VPN, or send only those through it.
  • Linux, a real app at last: a full-screen, keyboard-driven terminal client with live latency in the server list.
  • Phones, redesigned: a live world map behind the connect button that shows the country you're exposing when off and flies to your server when on. Home Screen widgets on iPhone, a quick-connect orb and recent-servers widgets on Android, guided setup for Free and Pro.
  • Everywhere: recover a forgotten password in-app with your 12-word phrase. Passkeys, biometric sign-in, sign out everywhere in one tap. Your phone warns you if protection drops, even with the app closed.
